Foods For Healthy You

Monsoon season is the life of India. This season showers a relief from hot and itchy summers, building serenity in the atmosphere when rain pours down. Monsoon hails the atmosphere with a relief but also brings health and dermatological irritants with it. The aggravation and trouble caused such as; allergies, infections and indigestion are part of the uneven change in the atmosphere. Due to these uncertain weather conditions, what suffers most is the outer layer- 'skin'. So to prevent your skin from unpredictable and detrimental changes you need to take care of few things.
All you need to do is to keep a variation in your eating habits. Just to manage your problems in a strait, you'll have to take a toll on your body's digestion. It’s high time you realize that the food out there in your kitchen is as important as a pack of creams beside your bed. Eating healthy will not only serve your skin with nutrition, but leave a gleaming glow and a soft touch to your healthy skin.

Eating right during monsoon
During the monsoon season, the first and the foremost food you should avoid is 'oily food'. Spicy food stimulated the temperature which leads to skin irritation and allergies. As monsoon season has more humidity in the atmosphere, it makes more difficult for our body's digestive system to digest food easily; digestion becomes generally weak. So, heavy and fried food should be avoided as it can lead to stomach upsets.
Lesser the intake of street food, more you are physically fit. On the same hand, greater the intake of green leafy vegetables builds immunity and lightens the stomach. Whereas most of the vegetables and fruits also carry some risk of infection, therefore, one should always wash the food properly before eating.
Moreover, fruits are the ideal food as they restore energy. But one should try and avoid watermelons, muskmelons. Overeating too much of mangoes can lead to pimples and boils. The foods such as barley, brown rice and oats are the stomach's best friend during the monsoon season. And a dash of garlic added to soups, stir fries and curries, helps building the body's immunity.

Milk and dairy products aren’t a good take, but one can go for curd (yogurt). Almonds are the second best option to pacify the immune system. Due to humidity, skin gets oily and is more prone to bacterial diseases. So to avoid these bacterial diseases one should take more of purified or lemon water (nimbu pani). You can also go for anti-bacterial soaps and face washes that will help your skin from rashes and allergies.
